It’s an ingredient whose safety hasn’t been questioned to date by anybody (a minimum of not that we understand about). BG is permitted by Ecocert and is usually used enthusiastically in natural products. BTW, it’s also a foods additive. Effectively, it used to generally be called microbeads, as it was banned in 2015 from the " Microbead-F
